I’ve spent over 25 years in the landscape industry, working throughout Central Alabama and the Nashville area. Over the years, I’ve had the opportunity to be involved in nearly every aspect of the business: production, management, sales, and design, on both the commercial and residential sides. That well-rounded experience allows me to see a project from every angle and guide it from concept to completion with confidence.

I got my start on a commercial maintenance crew, cutting grass and learning the fundamentals from the ground up. From there, I moved into floriculture, then into commercial landscape installation and enhancements. As my experience grew, I stepped into management, overseeing maintenance and enhancement crews before transitioning into sales of commercial maintenance contracts. For the past 13 years, I’ve focused on what I truly love: serving as a design consultant in the high-end residential installation space.

Before all of that, though, my path looked a little different. I spent the early years of my adult life as a musician, traveling and performing. When that chapter came to an end, I wasn’t sure what was next, but I knew I needed something that would allow me to stay creative. Almost by accident, I found my way into the landscape industry, and it turned out to be exactly where I was meant to be.

In 2010, I briefly stepped away and earned a degree as a surgical assistant. After about a year working in the hospital, it became clear that my true passion was still in landscaping. I returned to the industry with a renewed sense of purpose, and I’ve been all-in ever since.

I was born in Atlanta, Georgia, but raised in Central Alabama, where I graduated from Mountain Brook High School. I’ve been married to my high school sweetheart, Elizabeth, for 19 years, and we have two daughters, Madeleine and Adia. My family has been an incredible source of support throughout this journey, especially as I’ve taken the step into business ownership.

After more than two decades of working for others, the opportunity to partner with two of my closest friends, and two of the most talented people I know, was something I couldn’t pass up. Starting this company is truly a lifelong dream realized.

My role today is still very hands-on in the areas I’m most passionate about: sales and design. I work directly with each client to understand their vision, develop thoughtful custom designs, and guide them through the decision-making process. I don’t just step in at a high level; I’m involved from the very beginning, helping shape each project into something that truly fits the space and the people who will enjoy it.

From there, I stay closely connected throughout the build process, ensuring that what we design is executed at the highest level. I believe that continuity, from the first conversation to the final walkthrough, is what creates the best results.

We’ve also built an outstanding team, starting with my partners, Michael and Tim. There are no two better people in this business, and together we’re committed to creating outdoor spaces that not only meet expectations but exceed them.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at the lake, in the gym, or spending time with my family, friends, and our yellow lab, Shiloh.
