This Trussville backyard transformation was designed to create a cleaner, more usable outdoor space that connected naturally with the home's existing covered patio, pool area, and surrounding landscape.
Before the finished materials could go in, our team addressed the property from the ground up. Extensive site preparation and excavation allowed us to establish the proper base for the artificial turf, while an approximately 30-inch-deep bamboo barrier was installed along key areas of the property to help control future growth beneath the newly finished landscape.
Rather than simply carrying artificial turf from fence to fence, we incorporated a coordinating stone border that ties back into the existing patio and gives the backyard a more intentional, finished appearance. Two large stepping-stone medallions were also integrated into the turf, adding another layer of detail while helping define a natural extension of the outdoor living area.
Existing landscape areas around the home were cleaned and refreshed as part of the overall transformation, bringing the property together rather than treating the backyard as a standalone project.
The finished result is a low-maintenance Trussville backyard that feels established, cohesive, and connected to the home. More importantly, the work beneath the surface was approached with the same attention to detail as everything you see in the finished space.
For Wood-Palmer Outdoor Creations, that's the difference between simply installing a product and creating an outdoor environment that feels like it was always meant to be there.
